Burger King brazil is buzzing a lot this week with it’s new packaging for custom sandwiches.
This only seems to work only when you ask for a custom sandwich, they take a picture of you and they put it in the packaging. They made a system of cameras/printers to do it super fast and surprise the customer.
Too bad we only have Mc Donnalds and Quick and no Burger King in France. It could be fun to see something like this over here :)

Peugeot’s new logo

Some of you may have seen it already, Peugeot has changed their logotype again.
It was the agency BETC Design that did the job.
The lion is now chromed and has new shiny clean curves! It’s not completely different from his old brother, but it has lost it’s tongue!
As you can see type has changed also. I think it’s a bit more elegant and discreet than before. Kerning is better too.
Maybe it’s just me but i have seen a lot of chromed logos lately, and i’m not sure if Peugeot is a bit of a fashion victim for chroming their logo too but i believe it can make sense in some way, a chomed effect on a car company logo, it doesn’t look that bad compared to a bunch of other chromed logos.
As for the animal i can’t help to wonder what animal do i see because when i compare the very old logos and the few last ones, i can’t really see a lion in there, it’s more like a big four legged animal, that misses a bit something to be a lion.

Domino’s Pizza pack contest.

Tribeca France and Domino’s Pizza contacted me to advertise this new packaging contest in France.
It’s named “la faim dans le sac” (Hunger in a bag).
Return to the Doghouse

JCPenney is back with last year’s campaign “Beware of the doghouse” (it was posted here months ago).
The concept is still the same: A guy give a lousy gift or do something inapropiate to his girlfriend/wife and they end up in the doghouse as punishment.
This time they have found another clever twist to the story, because they keep the same website as last year but this time they give women the possibility to send their lousy boyfriends/husbands to the doghouse and make them pay :)
