I’m a big big fan of Mr Burton‘s work, and i just found out about his expo at MoMA NY.
Too bad i’m in Paris and i can’t go see it, but if you happen to be in New York between november 22 2009 and april 26 2010 and you love his work too, you shouldn’t miss it!
Here’s the trailer:

Kimiko Yoshida Paris expo

1

Kimiko Yoshida, born in Tokyo in 1963, lives in Europe since 1995. She’s a really talented artist.
Her pictures play with backgrounds, colours and make up and try to show in a subtle way women’s condition all over the world.
It’s good to notice, these pictures are not retouched! I really love the way images are composed and the way different objects are used.

Right now Kimiko is exposing in Paris her series of women portraits.
The expo is called “Femmes du monde” and it’s a solo show you can see it at:
Compagnies du Monde
5, avenue de l’Opéra
2009 September 17-December 31
