A couple of days ago, i had the chance to be invited by Taillefine to the avant première of Sex and the city 2 in a very Chic place of Paris, where they were also presenting a new flavour for their diet soda Taillefine Fiz (Pineapple, Mango) which is comming out this summer in France.

I really liked the tv serie, so i went there with a good friend of mine and we had a good time (and a lot of champagne!).

The film happens 2 years after the end of the first film… (more…)

The Disappearance of Alice Creed

2

Few days ago, i was invited by Allocine to the french avant première of the british thriller called “The Disappearance of Alice Creed“.

The film shows how Alice gets kidnapped by two men and what happens after (basically that’s the story without spoiling you the details).
I’m not sure but i think there are in the whole movie 3 actors, Gemma Arterton who was in ‘clash of titans’, Eddie Marsan and Martin Compston.
I don’t remember seeing anyone else in the whole movie and still, you always wonder what’s going to happen next, which is in my opinion a good thing because i hate those movies that you can see the end just by looking at the first 15/20 minutes.
I really liked the way images are constructed in the movie (specially in the first 10 minutes of the film), the colours used and the way it’s been directed.

So, the plot is brilliant, it’s not the best movie of all time, but i can say it’s really good one and i’m glad i went to a cinema to watch it.

The only thing i didn’t like in the movie was the part near the end of the movie when they are in the woods (i find it a bit long), but it’s pretty much the only thing.

If you want to see the movie, it’s already out in England but not yet in France (june 30th 2010).
