I am the rules – Foot Locker + Nike
0The other day i was watching tv when i saw this ad by Foot Locker and Nike.
I have to say that in France we have a lot of bad advertisings these days on tv and this one for some reason catched my eye.
The agency Wieden + Kennedy London made this ad for the Nike Air Max 90 wich is only available at Foot Locker.
The ad shows atypical profiles of different sport players and celebrates the fact of being different, acting different, and not being like the rest.
The art direction is really good. Images on the ad are strong, clean and visually stunning and the music goes really well with it.
Louboutin’s 2010 collection by Kyong Nguyen
0Louboutin and Kyong Nguyen worked together to bring you this amazing serie of images for the new shoes.
The images were inspired by the stories we used to love (or hate) when we were little.
Such as Alice in wonderland, the little mermaid, cinderella and many more.
Mr. Kyong Nguyen is known by his collaborations with brands like Porsche, Citroen, Wad, La souris sur le gateau, Samsung or Smart…
As for Louboutin, don’t be fooled most websites that sell them are fake, here’s the official site.
Puma’s Clever Little Bag
0After 21 months of work Puma and Fuseproject just relased their new ecologic packaging for their shoes.
It’s called ‘Clever Little Bag’. It is basically a bag, and a cardboard structure inside.
The cardboard has been reduced by 65% maintaining the structure of a box.
There is no laminated printing and no tissue paper, weight less, cost less to produce and you still get a bag to carry your shoes around.
This will probably save the brand millions of dollars and allowing them to go green and make a better brand image.
Not to mention the fact that people carrying the bags will indirectly advertise the brand for them by using them in every day life.
So it’s a pretty clever move in my opinion. (more…)
Psycho-logic by Louboutin
0Christian Loubutin, the famous french luxury shoemaker, wrote and directed a video, with Mika on the soundtrack, to advertise their new Hollywood boutique.
It’s a bit of a remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, with a shoe instead of a knive and a bit more glamorous. I’m not quite certain about the way it goes from a thriller to an ad for shoes in the story…maybe it’s me but i need something to understand what happens in the middle.
