Tokyo – Time lapse

I always wanted to visit Japan, and i was thinking of going there in the near future when all the earthquake and nuclear disaster happened. Today i stumbled upon this beautiful time lapse of Tokyo made by Stephan Werc this reminded me how much i would like to go there one day (maybe when things go back to normal).
Stephan used a Canon 7D. The song is called “get up and go” from the band Broadcast 2000. (more…)
Yoko Furusho – Illustration

Some days ago, i saw the portfolio of Yoko Furusho, an illustrator artist from Tokyo now living in New York.
I was really amazed by her details, her textures and how beautiful her drawings are.
Yoko usually works with fashion magazines as illustrator and has won several prizes.
I’m showing you a few of her drawings below, but she really has a lot more in her website
Urban Abstract

Beautiful animation about urban spaces, from Jopsu Ramu and Shun Kawakami (artless Inc) made for TV Nelonen in Finland. I really like the music that was chosen. Don’t forget to check out their website here, it’s actually pretty nice.
